Welcome to Cast CentralAbout this siteI built this site because I like to wear casts. I have been proud to be a member from my humble beginnings in 1996 when I had a tiny site on AOL to the 4.3 million visitors per year that I serve now. Some people think that enjoying casts is somehow wrong, but I see it as simply the way I was created. I didn't choose to be a caster, but I'm not going to repress my feelings my whole life.Casters come in all shapes and sizes. Our community has members from the US, Germany, England, Japan, Korea, Brazil, and essentially everywere else in the world. Some of us like to wear casts, some like to see others wearing them. A lot enjoy the foot and toes, some like neck braces too. We are very accepting of others, we figure that for others to accept us we need to be accepting of them. If you are new to recreational orthopedics, you are obviously not alone! There are thousands of us throughout the world. There might not be any others physically near you yet, but through the internet you can meet a lot of great people. Casting is a very safe interest. When done right you can apply, wear, and remove a cast. Supplies can be ordered from the internet and instructions can be found on many sites. We do NOT promote breaking bones or harming yourself or others in any way. The most enjoyable part of a cast is not having any pain! Webfinds now free!The webfinds section has about 26,000 photos and they are all free. If you own the copyright on a photo, just click on "complain" and it will be reviewed. In December, 2006 we had 1.5 million jpg's downloaded, and 800,000 pageloads. That's an absolutely huge amount of traffic! |
